TERRI ARNOLD - 2 DAY WORKSHOP - ATTENTION IS THE GAME (Flanders, New Jersey)

When it comes to establishing extraordinary relationships with dogs, Terri Arnold stands apart from all others. Dog obedience enthusiasts know that Terri's own dogs are a living testimony to her exceptional canine communication skills. Dog show rings were thick with spectators when she entered; her performances are a blend of precision, artistic expression, and lots of attitude. But most importantly, Terri's students continually demonstrate that her true gift is the ability to guide them to exceptional relationships with their own dogs - resulting in countless titles, top scores and national awards. Put quite frankly, those utilizing Terri Arnold's training theories and methods whether it be in obedience or agility are dominating the ring, and that's no accident. Terri's own students include a wide variety of dog enthusiasts; from professional trainers with their own training schools, to students who want to reach their own personal goals. Presently, Terri has four MACH agility dogs and working on her fifth. You can not afford to miss this workshop whether you compete, teach, or just want the most out of your relationship with your dog.

FREESTYLE DANCE WORKSHOP

Musical Freestyle is a choreographed musical program performed by handlers and their dogs. The object of musical freestyle is to display the dog and handler in a creative, innovative and original dance, using music and intricate movements to showcase teamwork, artistry, costuming, athleticism and style in interpreting the theme of the music. Heelwork-to-Music incorporates traditional dog obedience and the art of dressage with the inclusion of musical interpretation, dance elements, and costuming with an emphasis on non-standard obedience movements.

MARY ANN COUTLEY AND DIVA (Dalmatian)

Mary Ann Coutley is the Freestyle Dance Instructor for the last 10 years at For Pet's Sake Dog Training School in Mukwonago , WI . She has been training dogs for over 35 years, showing her Dalmatians in the breed ring, obedience, agility, flyball and musical freestyle. Her Wynona has titled in Heelwork to Music and Freestyle. She had appeared on TV and in newspaper articles and was well known in Wisconsin for her participation at State Fair, in parades and for doing many demos throughout the years at nursing homes, schools, senior homes and hospitals. Wynona's last performance was at the Pet Expo in Schaumburg, Illinois March 2007 where she received a first place gold medal and a qualifying score for the team event at the age of 12 years.

Now the New Kid on the block, "RICKY" has to follow in her footsteps. Ricky made his debut at Midnight Magic in Mukwonago , WI when he was 3 months old. That was his first attempt at dancing. He did an intro performance of some freestyle dance moves at 4 months of age at an elementary school play of 101 Dalmatians in January 2007. He has participated in over 30 demonstrations. Ricky received his first leg in Musical Freestyle in the spring of 2009 at the Chicagoland Pet Expo. Her newest member of the team is a 8 month old Dalmatian, Diva, who already knows 30 moves!
